Yin Yoga - The art of letting go

Book

Yin is the art of slowing down and surrendering. Rooted in Taoism and Chinese medicine, Yin Yoga draws on the wisdom of the Five Elements, the Meridian Channels, and the anatomical body to bring balance to the mind, body, and spirit.

In a Yin practice, poses are held for 3-7 minutes, allowing you to access the deeper layers of fascia and gently release stored tension. With the support of the breath and stillness, the body begins to soften, unwind, and open - creating space not only physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

In today’s fast-paced, Yang-driven world, many of us spend much of our energy moving outward - striving, achieving, doing. Yin offers the essential counterbalance: slowness, receptivity, and inner listening. Both Yin and Yang are needed for harmony, and when one is neglected, life can feel out of balance. Through Yin, we restore that harmony, reconnect with our bodies, calm the mind, and nurture the spirit.

If you’re ready to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself, join me for a Yin Yoga practice. Whether you’re seeking stress relief, greater flexibility, or a moment of stillness, Yin offers a sanctuary for your whole being.
